How it feels like wearing a Christian T-shirt in Montréal

I test all my products, which means I’ve got a ton of T-shirts at home — even the ones that never made it to the shelf.

I wear them everywhere. And wherever I go, I notice people reading them — especially here in Montréal, where I live.

I think it’s partly because of Québec’s history. During the Quiet Revolution in the 1960s, there was a major cultural shift — a widespread rejection, almost an “expulsion,” of Christianity, particularly Roman Catholicism.

So when someone sees a bold message like “Jesus is the King,” it stands out. It sparks something.

Most recently, at the Montréal airport, I was surprised by how many people slowed down or even stopped to read it. A few smiled. And I even got a few joyful “Amém!”s.

That’s the kind of reaction that reminds me why I do this. 👕✝️
